Construction and execution
The RWC resistors are characterized by a spiral-shaped resistive strip and wound around a ceramic pipe with a circular section profiled to house the strip itself. The higher cooling allowed by the larger surface of exchange of the strip with respect to a resistive wire allows, in particular for low resistance values, to consider the RWC as an alternative to the RDP of similar power level.
